Dear Sir
in reply to yours of the 20 for
my opinion in regard to
intimidation being used
by the white People to prevent
the Negroes from exercising
their right of Suffrage in the
late Election, I will Say that I
never Saw more freedom exercised
at the Polis than I Saw at[midlath - undecipherable]
on the day of Election. Every one, both white and colored were there.
